RIP Ginger...

So first of all it has been 16 years since Ginger Rogers passed away. July 16, 1911 – April 25, 1995.

I know I don't usually post things about people's deaths, but this one is very important because Ginger is my favorite actress. So I'm working on a video and decided to upload some pictures I have collected, from various websites and some wonderful people who have shared.

It is also her centennial year, she was an amazing actress and will always be my favorite. I was able to watch all her movies and she had incredible talent and always did the roles she played flawlessly.

RIP Ginger!

  1. Ginger is also my husband's favorite actress. He adores her...and she is the reason our adorable little puppy was given the name Ginger.

Since it is her 100th birthday this year, I know my husband will be wanting a week-long celebration of nothing but Ginger movies.

  2. Ginger Rogers was amazing. She was a awesome actress that had so many skills that most could not match up to. I recognize her more than just Fred's partner.
I can't wait for July 16th. Me and my dad planned that once when he moves here, and on July 16th we will have a big celebration thing going on lol....
And a couple of those pics I haven't seen so I'm going to save them. :D

  3. Have you ever seen the Bob Hope 90th Birthday special? Ginger was in attendance. This was in 1993.

  4. Patti: Haha that's great! Same here actually :D My little dog is named Ginger too :D

GF11: Yes she was! And I do too, I think it's ridiculous when they say that she was only at her best when with Fred.
    Awesome! Haha :D

    Ok!

Tom: No I haven't! Could you send me a link?
